Sejarah berdiri PT XL Axiata sebelumnya bernama PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk), XL mulai beroperasi secara komersial pada tanggal 8 Oktober 1996, dan merupakan perusahaan swasta pertama yang menyediakan layanan telepon seluler di Indonesia. Pada 16 November 2009, RUPSLB XL menetapkan perubahan nama perusahaan dari PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk menjadi PT XL Axiata Tbk.

Bisnis PT XL Axiata XL memiliki dua lini produk GSM, yaitu XL Prabayar dan XL Pascabayar. Selain itu XL juga menyediakan layanan korporasi yang termasuk Internet Service Provider (ISP) dan VoIP.

PT XL Axiata, saat ini kembali membuka beberapa posisi dengan kualifikasi sebagai berikut:

Engineer - Touchpoints CRM, IVR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Do low level design and coding of enterprise grade customer touch point applications like Web Portals, UMB, Mobile apps, pervasive devices etc. based on Service Oriented Architecture
• Adhere to coding standards for web and mobile application development, including strong version control mechanism
• Provide Hotfixes for production defects within defined SLAs
• Estimate solution, build effort and ensure services are developed and delivered within agreed timelines
• Work closely with software testing team to ensure functional and non-functional testing of developed features and services is done and documented. Demonstrate code quality improvement through reduction in software and code review defects
• Work closely with services monitoring and operations team to monitor and continuously improve responsiveness, user adoption, service latency, response time, processing time, uptime etc. Able to monitor and diagnose through service monitoring and analytical dashboards
• Assist with environment related activities: software installation and upgrade, changes/ maintenance, deployment procedures, HA/DR configuration etc

Requirements:
• S1 in Engineering : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Information System is preferred
• At least 2 years in the design and development of web and mobile applications on Web Portals , Frameworks and Mobile Application Development Platforms (IBM, Oracle, SAP, Kony, Phonegap, Appccelerator, Groory on Grails  or any similar)
• Preferably having deep experience of building mobile applications
• Preferably have industry recognized integration related certifications
• 2 years of work experience in telecommunication domain is a plus
• Technical skill set: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, Python, XML/XSLT, XPATH, XML Schema, WSDL,SQL, J2EE (especially on Java Web Service) , Java, JMS, SOAP, REST, jQuery Mobile, Dojo Mobile, Eclipse, Netbeans, Node.j
• Knowledge of building native applications on IOS using Objective-C and XCODE and on Android using Java/ Android SDK. Also of building hybrid mobile applications. (Additional experience on BB and Windows mobile applications is preferred)
• Knowledge on mobile UI/UX design interface using editors like Eclipse,  IntelliJ, ForeUI etc. and CMS like Drupal, Joomla etc
• Knowledge on building MBaaS services based on programming languages like Java, JMS, PHP etc. exposing as Webservices or JSON/REST
• Experience in MADP from IBM, Kony, Pegasus, Phonegap, Xamarin etc
• Knowledge of Database management (SQL Server & Oracle) and different Unix flavours. (Experience in implementing applications on cloud will be preferred)
• Knowledge of network elements like firewalls, switches, GGSN, DMZ etc and of middleware services integration is preferred
